Update #22

Progress Report

Models. Real ones.
Models. Real ones.

Hi all. Firstly I must apologise for the lack of communication recently. Since we delivered the master models to the actual manufacturer we're sitting and waiting just as much as you, but I was negligent in updating you all on that we are also still waiting once the last quoted ship date had passed.

I sincerely apologise as this has clearly caused, unnoticed by me until tonight, several of you to worry that the project will not be delivered. Although, once again, I am saddened to have to inform you of delays, I assure you 100% that the project is not in any peril and all miniatures will be delivered. I hope it will ease concerned minds to see the attached image. This is multiple copies of several of our variants, cast in white metal, placed upon the mould that they are to be cast in. This image was part of a conversation about how to fit all the various parts onto models (the ones in the middles can't be placed there and this image has been sent to me to ask what to do,as they don't fit). You can see part of my response - circling the accessory sprues. These were then to be made on a mould of their own, allowing for all (except the original Orphan 9 model who already had a mould of her own) the main body parts to fit on one place. Not that I expect you all to be very interested in this, I attach just to show that the manufacturing process IS in process.

I'll give the manufacturers a ring tomorrow to see if I can do better at providing an Estimated Delivery Date.

Again, my most sincere apologies for any concern I have caused by my lack of communication.
