Christmas catch up

Howdy Squiddos!

Right, this is where we are now:

Almost half way though, phew. It is taking a long time but it is the busiest part of the year, so much to do as well as get these Kickstarters packed. I aimed to have most of them shipped by Christmas but there just haven't been enough hours in the day.

The office is closed now until the 2nd January, I really need a break as I am utterly exhausted. I have shipped as many as I can! The ones that aren't - the minis are all quality checked, bagged and ready to pack and will be shipped as soon as I return. I will be back before the official 2nd January, so may get-a-packin then!

As I mentioned before, they have been taking a while due to my attention to them, the handwritten notes and extra goodies.

I hope this is ok with everyone. It will be very early January that it is finished. Delaney will have a first draft of Gunny Peegs any day soon so we can start playtesting then too.

Some more cool pictures!

So since the original sketches, the Peeg and Bunny Heavies and Fast Attack are bigger than expected, and will be more at RRP, so you have got a really good deal, woo!

"How do I know if my pledge has shipped?"

You will receive a message in your Kickstarter inbox, and if you used the Bad Squiddo website, your order will turn to shipped instead of processing. If there is nothing, it hasn't shipped yet.

Did I hear you are doing another Kickstarter?

I am. 23rd January. It was supposed to be September but I moved it back as I didn't want it to overlap with this. My Last Sunrise was different as it used a different manufacturer, but now I am using those folks for all my metal, so I wanted to make sure this was done and dusted first. It's only polite!

If you are interested, I would love you to come along on the next ride.

It is.... shieldmaidens. Over 50. Please do follow social media for updates. It's enough shieldmaidens to make an army, all different troop types sculpted by Alan Marsh featuring some adorable animals by Phil Hynes and gods and characters by Shane Hoyle (Ghosts of Gaia sculptor). Like My Last Sunrise, this one will ship very fast, should be March. It's took me a while to sort that out, so I am very excited. This new relationship with the new casters is the most exciting thing to happen to Bad Squiddo so far.

I would love to hear your feedback on what you would like to keep happening, or not happen, or happen!

i have had a few thoughts, such as

  • Postage paid after instead of on KS.
  • barely any merch (literally just a badge for everyone)
  • mega fast fulfillment
  • more video updates, but not on Kickstarter live! (so laggy)
  • Shipping and pledge calculator
  • Only specific Bad Squiddo minis available on the pledge manager
  • clear pictures in the reward survey/pledge manager
  • less pledge options

Hearing your thoughts would be great, and I have taken on board the messages you left on the survey too - mostly positive! I want to keep these as excellent Kickstarters and you folk happy. Each Kickstarter has been a big learning curve and we seem to be doing a good job, but it's only natural to want to improve each time!

Have a very Merry Christmas, thank you so much and I look forward to seeing more of you. Do not fear that I am done with Ghosts of Gaia, we have new sculpts, rules in the working for the critters, and ideas for the next phase. I will continue to update this.

All the loves
