Update #52

R&D questions

The dust has settled a bit and I've gone back into my research and development studies to better the quality of the miniatures for the future. After all my research I've come to the conclusion of using the 3d prints themselves as the final pieces. With the photo-resin already being the thing I mold and cast I feel like just jumping ahead to just using the 3d print itself is a far better result that will have better consistency versus hand molding and casting. After doing so many tests before I feel pretty confident with it's capabilities.

I am using the same resin that I used to mold and cast and feel pretty good about in it's durability as well. This is a costly investment but I feel it'll be the way to go to produce wonderful figures consistently. Do people have an aversion to photo-resin(3d print resin) versus regular resins? I feel there wouldn't be much difference as to plastic or pewter but I felt the need to ask to see if people had a differing opinion.

Update #51

The End.

All shipments have been sent with the exception of those that have not paid for shipping or have recently paid for shipping. This pretty much concludes the kickstarter, it has been quite a journey day in and day out but I've learned so much to put in place for the future.

There are many things I need to improve upon but with the 3d printer at hand and time to test and experiment I'll be able to polish and improve upon previous issues as well as right some failures. It wasn't a perfect kickstarter but I hope it delivered to mostly people's expectations. The figures themselves ended up being exclusives due to some trouble in the manufacturing stage. At this point I feel a bit more confident with the threshold for great consistent casts that also maintains their ability to snap together more conveniently.

With the access of a 3d printer on hand at all times I can now test how shallow or deep I can go with the details without a huge delay which should enhance future models with better detail and more pop. This kickstarter fulfilled its purpose by allowing me to purchase the tool I needed most to experiment and I again thank everyone once more.

Moving forward I'll be putting together another kickstarter with an expectation of a release in early 2019. I will not be using 3d renders any longer to showcase the pieces, the Fateslayer universe will be much more cohesive and will not be as vague as it was, and overall better polish everywhere around. I plan to do more variety and options with future pieces and make sure to not overpromise or suggest things I can not reasonably delivery upon.

That's about it, if you have any suggestions or opinions for current or future projects feel free to comment as I certainly read through everything. I thank everyone again for their patience and another thank you for backing into a project that potentially had a high rate of failure based upon trusting a first time kickstarter and trusting that one person could manufacture over 15 thousand pieces. I hope to surprise everyone in the near future and until the next time have a wonderful year.

Update #50

Shipping Update #4

Hello! Shipping is nearly finished, wanted to be done tonight to get all the shipments that have paid shipping out but shipping will be done early next week if not Tuesday.

Europe is a little behind, there are 21 packages still left over and should hopefully be sent this Monday.

I have 44 packages yet to be delivered with 17 that have not paid yet, so about 27 paid packages left. All Determined, Dice, Cursed, Monster, Natural, Naked, Fate, and Secret tiers that have paid have been sent or will be sent tomorrow with tracking numbers already sent to your e-mail. Vanguard, Statue, and Man Slayer tiers will be finished very soon.

I do apologize for the shipping delays, have not done this much bulk shipping before and I am packaging everything alone. I appreciate everyone's patience and I hope all the packages will be reaching everyone's hands around the world by Monday of the week after.

Have a safe week and best of health as fall/winter is beginning on the northern hemisphere.

Update #48

Shipping update #3

Another and hopefully last shipping update.

All UK orders have been delivered, the rest of Europe will be sent on Thursday/Friday as Storm Ali caused disruption and packages could not be delivered to the depot.

Currently all Secret/Fate/Dice slayer orders have been delivered besides those that have not paid for shipping. Naked and Natural tier will be sent on Saturday as well as much of the other tiers and final ship date will be on Monday.

If you have not paid for shipping please do so I can send your packages.

You'll know when your packages go out as a tracking number will be sent to your e-mail or kickstarter message if you're in Europe.

That's all folks, til the next update which should be the wrap up update.
