There are things in this world that most men, in their conceit of the ordinary and the humdrum, know nothing of. Many even refuse such knowledge lest they fall into the clutches of depravity. N'nhaak'chshir is content in this, for if all men knew of him and of his disciples he would find it difficult to vitiate them all, even with the knowledge and power the Great Father has already given him. Yet he knows that ultimately death is but an ending, a path to another life, and he must corrupt the vital before they die so that they live in his own image and worship him for eternity, thus invigorating him in turn. It is this that drives N'nhaak'chshir, a paradox that only he can sustain, for every corruption brings its own kind of death to the corrupted, a living death that has no ending.
