From the beginning of the 19th century until the middle of the same century, thousands of men dedicated to the hunting and tanning of skins toured the mountain routes and the great rivers of North America. They made the flourishing traffic of furs and hunting their modus vivendi. They were trappers, hunters and explorers, tough men who opened routes in the most inhospitable of the American territory and challenged the climate, the natives and nature with bravery. Our commemorative figure of the first anniversary of Semper Fidelis Miniaturas, masterfully modeled by modeller master Ángel Terol and painted in two colorist variants by José Luis Muñoz and José Lorenzo Serafín, is a tribute to those men.
