Game club Legion Tactical Marine Squad: MKIII Iron Armour & Accesories by Forge World Model Review

I currently have four ten-strong squads of Tactical Space Marines wearing a variety of different power armour marks. This is the second review in a short series to look at these different types of armour made by Forge World and their accessories to personalise and enhance the look of the models.

In this video I take a look at a development of the original Crusade Suit the MKIII or Iron Armour. The only special purpose power armour developed for the marines, Iron Armour had increased frontal plating to increase protection in tunnel clearance, boarding action and other tactical situations where troops were subjected to intense fire. Never intended to Legion-wide issue and ultimately superseded by Terminators, MKIII found a home in niche applications such as Breacher and Heavy Support squads.

Legion Tactical Squads are the infantry backbone of Legion forces providing flexible unit sizes and are capable of unleashing devastating volleys of boltgun fire. Whether they are equipped with a Rhino for fast moving objective capture or a 20-Astartes assault team supported by an Apothecary they are highly versatile and effective troops.
