Update #56

Update: Next Kickstarter

Hello Guys,

I am posting this up to give you guys an update on where I am and what is next. As most of you remember when I took this project back I finished much of this project with my own money. Well that money has dried up and I cannot finish the cards as planned. I am sorry about that, but there is nothing that could have been done at the moment. Those of you that wanted cards please contact me when you get the chance. I will be sending out the last books (those that I was holding to pack with cards) before the end of the month, and I am going to mark this Kickstarter as complete.
Now with this KS being marked as complete, this allows me to create the next the next kickstarter to fund more models. The goal of the next KS is to establish the ground work to sell these models to the general public and with a fair amount of luck move beyond kickstarters for regular releases and only use KS to launch new or special projects.
Now I have two options for this KS '€“

1 '€“ Create one KS where both the normal human models and spirit beast share the same KS and take turns when it comes to rewards beyond the main funding goal. Some of the models included in this KS would be the green models that I have already commissioned like Hawaiian Warriors, Uktena, Deer Woman, Mo'€™o, Malku, and runs for the unreleased model kits that have not seen the light of day yet. Also I was planning to commission a new model of the Piasa Bird as part of the main funding goal.

2 '€“ Create two Kickstarters, one human and one spirit beast, which would run at the same time. The respective kickstarters would include the models listed above plus a handful of other models that I still need to pick. These KS would have lower funding goals and would have stretch goals much sooner.

Now Spirit Beast models on the short list to be put in these Kickstarters would be the Skinwalkers, Sasquatch, Basket Woman, the Crystal Skull Engine, and the Flying Heads.

The human models on the short list would be the Hawaiian Ali'€™i, and Mo'€™i, the woodland Clanmother, Inca Kallawaya Doctor and units for the Inca, woodland, plains, eskimo and maya commoner and holcan.
What are your thoughts on this upcoming kickstarter?
Marc
