Update #19

Thank You All

Well, here we are, funded and ready to fire up the tools, place the deposits on the bulk supplies and get these things made up for you all. There is a feeling that I am sure all of you know so well, when you set out wanting to do something but you have that doubt and you hesitate, and hesitation turns to procrastination then finally, something inside you sparks up and you just wade in and start. Be it painting a miniature, or starting on a craft project, asking someone out on a date, or even backing a Kickstarter 😉. When you start whatever it is, there is always that little voice in your mind saying "what if" and usually that voice leans towards the negative side. What if I mess up this mini? What if nobody likes it? What if She / He says no? What if I'm not good enough? We all have that, some folks struggle more than others with it. Not gonna lie, there were times when I said "What if I can't get funded"? But, that little negative voice has a positive twin, and it whispered, "But, then again, what if you do"? I like the little positive voice that doesn't have to scream to get its point across, it doesn't have to nag to light that spark, and it looks at the whole picture pointing out examples of why you should listen to their quiet reasoning. That little positive voice I named "Hope" in my head, and if you ever hear it whispering to you, I recommend that you take its advice because I am about to share some non Grimm Gripp related facts with ya real quick to show you what We (meaning you me and the folks out there posting) accomplished.

What percentage of Kickstarters are successful?

As of July 2021, the success rate of fully funding a project on the crowdfunding website was 38.92 percent. Overall, 5.4 billion U.S. dollars have gone into successfully launched projects.

How many people are in the World 2021?

7.9 Billion People

World Population Clock: 7.9 Billion People (2021) - Worldometer.

We hit the goal with 69 people, not a large percentage of the population did something that less than 40% of people do on Kickstarter.  Isn't that amazing? Funny how the little negative voice is not around now. Don't let it keep you from trying folks.

So, thanks, this is looking at this from a perspective of awe and appreciation, and I thank you for lifting me up so I can have this view. I will keep you posted on things cause you know how I love to ramble :).

I hope everyone's day is as amazing as mine has been.

Thank you all,

Azreal Grimm
