Play In Too Dee on Tabletop Simulator

Hi Agents,

While we are giving this campaign an overhaul, we thought we'd invite you to play In Too Deep with us on Tabletop Simulator. It will give you a good sense of what this game is all about, especially if you have been on the fence about it. And if you have a friend that you'd like to play with, have them sign up too!

How This Works

  • Please get to know the rules by downloading a digital copy of them here (there will only be a brief overview during the session)
  • Get to know Tabletop Simulator, its controls, and how it works (we won't be teaching this to you)
  • Sign up for one of three sessions that will be available every week until September 15th, here - that is only 12 spots a week, which means they will go fast
  • Once you have signed up, and just before the session, you will receive an email with more detailed information from Sean about your session

What's Next From Us

As mentioned, the campaign is getting a complete overhaul. We have received a great deal of feedback from our backers, from people who have taken notice, and from others in the industry who are experts in running KS campaigns. This feedback is invaluable to us. So, if you have suggested something already, thank you for taking the time. If you have something you'd like to let us know, please feel free to DM us and we will take your feedback into consideration.

Update #1

On the Eve of Funding ... Project Cancellation

Hello Agents!

Welcome to the 660+ of you for being here with us! We have thoroughly enjoyed watching your enthusiasm for In Too Deep right from the launch of the campaign. We have been working tirelessly for years making this game into what it is today: an incredible design like no other game you have ever played. And beyond that, a stunning game to have on your table.

But, on the cusp of funding, and with heavy hearts, we are writing to let you know that we have decided to temporarily suspend the In Too Deep Kickstarter campaign. We are not making this decision lightly. But we have decided that you all deserve more.

As always with Burnt Island, we have a long list of added content and improved components that we hoped to reveal and achieve through Stretch Goals. At the current rate we will not reach many of them. We are doing serious reflection on the factors that may have kept us from a truly explosive start.

But please don'€™t fret; we have a plan!

On September 15th at 9am EST we will relaunch the In Too Deep campaign, bigger and better. We are going to use this time wisely to recalibrate and refine the campaign page; polish up elements of theme, gameplay and presentation; and continue actively spreading awareness. Some aspects of importance include:

  • Focusing more on the solo mode
  • Communicating and refining the unique thematic elements
  • Explaining the innovative gameplay more clearly
  • Enhancing the Deluxe edition further
  • Making In Too Deep public on Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia so that you can get a taste of gameplay earlier

We know that this isn'€™t the update you expected, but we think it is the right thing to do for the game, and especially for our loyal backers. You deserve a Burnt Island campaign with the energy that you have come to expect, and we know that we can give it to you.

We hope you'll join us when we relaunch In Too Deep!
