Modular Hexagonal WW1 Trench Tiles

Create authentic, interlocking trench networks for your tabletop battles with this modular terrain set. Each hexagonal tile connects seamlessly to create realistic, elevated trench lines inspired by World War I fortifications. Designed for wargamers who prefer physical, three-dimensional terrain over flat mats, this set provides a durable foundation for fully modular battlefield layouts. All files are provided in both .STL and pre-oriented .3MF formats. Cursed Anvil’s in-house print profile, optimized for 0.4 mm nozzles and 0.2 mm layer height, is baked into the .3MF files. The profile is also available separately as a .JSON file for import into your slicer.

TTGE System

TTGE system is a modular hex-tile architecture designed to create physically interlocking terrain with true elevation and structural stability. Each tile uses the TriLock connection system, ensuring accurate alignment and a secure fit across any configuration. Elevation risers and skirt pieces allow the terrain to function as a self-contained board section or integrate seamlessly into larger multi-tile layouts.

All components are optimized for FDM 3D printing, designed for efficient production and precise tolerances. Scaled for 28–32 mm miniatures, they are compatible with most major wargaming systems.

Build Purpose

This set provides the essential building blocks for modular WW1-style trench terrain. Wall and junction tiles form continuous defensive lines, while chokepoint sections create narrow, tactical engagement zones. The TTGE Skirt pieces finish the outer edges for standalone boards or partial layouts, maintaining a professional, finished appearance even without surrounding tiles.

Compatibility

Fully compatible with Cursed Anvil’s current and future TTGE terrain sets, and suitable for Trench Crusade, Warhammer 40,000, Kill Team, Bolt Action, and other games that benefit from realistic modular terrain design.
