Unlike other servants of Beleroth, the Executioners of Onslaught are not born into their caste - they are chosen. When an Atriarch within the ranks of Onslaught demonstrates unwavering obedience, spiritual fortitude, and an aptitude for clean, purposeful violence, the Priests of Onslaught may mark them for a far greater task: the execution of Beleroth’s divine will. To be selected is both a privilege and a curse.
Executioners are stripped of identity and rank, bound by ritual scars and iron law to a life of endless slaughter. No longer warleaders or champions, they become sacred tools - living weapons shaped by fire, blood, and infernal intent.
An Executioner does not kill out of passion or rage. Their every strike is calculated, carried out with the sanctity of ritual and the silence of absolute conviction. They wield oversized, two-handed blades inscribed with runes of judgment - massive weapons designed not for battle, but for public display, ceremony, and finality. In war, they rarely speak. Their silent presence on the battlefield is enough to compel lesser demons into line and unnerve even the bravest of enemies. Wherever an Executioner marches, it is understood that someone has already been condemned.
The Priests of Onslaught consider Executioners to be a vital counterbalance to the chaos of the flame. Where Berserkers rage and Anarchists burn unpredictably, Executioners are the embodiment of cold, cruel order. They serve as battlefield arbiters and spiritual reapers, often deployed to cull failure or heresy within Beleroth’s own legions. When a warband has grown too wild, too feral, or too undisciplined, an Executioner arrives - not to instruct, but to punish. Their judgments are final. Their flaming blade are the last thing many unruly demons ever see.
Cloaked in seared cloth and chains, their bodies are often branded with the names of the condemned they have slain - each mark a permanent record of Beleroth’s justice. It is said that truly ancient Executioners carry so many names upon their skin that their flesh has become a scripture of death. Among the faithful, these killers are revered as saints of discipline. Among their enemies, they are feared as the burning hands of a god who demands sacrifice, and never accepts excuses.
This set contains 2x Executioners of Onslaught, supported and unsupported, along with a 40mm premium base.
