A miniature for the St. Volodymyr Cathedral in Kyiv/Kiev Ukraine

A model I created for the St. Volodymyr Kickstarter campaign I ran a few years ago. This model does not include interiors.

About the Cathedral

The Cathedral was built in the neo-Byzantine style, the original design made by Ivan Strom and Paulo Sparro; it was later redesigned by the architect Alexander Beretti.

It is a traditional ancient six-column triapsid church, but topped with seven domes.

My work

I've put the best of my efforts to build a high fidelity 3D model to the real St. Volodymyr's Cathedral, with very few adaptations for printability.

From the stars on the domes to smaller ornaments around the building, I've tried to keep everything that our printers can handle, especially at these sizes.

Three sizes included:

Large 22cm+, Medium 9-22cm, and Small 6-9cm

Each with their levels of details.

There are also standalone versions for the cathedral towers.
