Calder The Doomsayer - Human Npc

Calder the Doomsayer wanders from settlement to settlement carrying rolled parchments, half-finished prophecies, and warnings nobody particularly wants to hear. Dressed in ragged traveling clothes with a stuffed satchel hanging from his waist, he raises one finger dramatically as he delivers whatever grim revelation has brought him to town. Whether Calder is a genuine prophet, a madman, or simply very good at noticing trouble before everyone else is another question entirely.

Calder works well as a wandering prophet or ominous stranger, fitting naturally into villages, markets, roadside encounters, cult storylines, and the beginning of particularly bad days.
