A powerful spellcaster who fled into the Feywilds as Tharador’s physical plane became embroiled in war. There he was met by Queen Userios, a Fairy with whom he was instantly smitten, enchanted, yet not by magic. He devoted his love to her, becoming her faithful servant with the intent that in the Feywilds they would build a new, better world together. One that was a haven from war, death and suffering.

When the Arcane Dome came down and it was clear Leacianus’ days were numbered, Lizarius, a powerful mage of Leacieanus, fled into the throes of the forest. Steinved was a wasteland during the war, and it had hardly recovered in the time he fled into it, adopting the name Pontifax and using his magics to alter himself to appear like the Verdant Elves that might heal the land. For a while, he lived incognito, locals not questioning the sudden appearance of a druid to their ravaged land, and the Coalition not thinking to find any war criminals either. Yet in his dreams a mystical figure haunted him, one that kept watch over the pale druid, stalking his every footstep like a lioness, tracking her prey.

Intuition told him it was more than a dream, something deeper, more sinister. A trick of the Breath-ravaged woods. Thus he set a bait for his prey, and thus came to uncover his silent observer was in fact the self-proclaimed ruler of the woods: a Faerie Monarch calling herself Userios. He found himself infatuated with the creature, not by a spell or charm, yet by the power and authority she commanded over the woods and its residents. His heart strangely became filled by the Faerie, and he plunged himself into the depths of the Fey to be with her.

Now the two live in tandem, him as her court mage, but also her lover, king, and right hand. The more eccentric of Userios’ activities begun shortly after her and Pontifax fell in love, and some in the Fey wonder if it was in a bid to impress her new lover, or if something else was amiss. There are rumours that it is indeed Pontifax who holds her mind rather than the other way around, but so far none have been able to determine anything of the sort. Any who try draw close to the Faerie Queen or her lover mysteriously disappear, or become a part of her devout worshippers.
