Chess Bases - Make Your Own Chess Set!

You can create your own chess set out of any miniature or object you have lying around the house with this set of bases! The bases are arked on both front and back sides with a symbol denoting the type, allowing you to easily see what each piece represents.

The models have been sculpted with a 1.75"/44mm-2"/50mm chess board in mind. The bases are sculpted with a nice tall lift of 0.5"/13mm to give minis some extra height for playability. The base models come in 1"/25mm versions, with the bishop, queen and king having 1.15"/30mm, 1.3"/33mm and 1.5"/38mm variants respectively to allow for stability and extra height.

There are two versions of the bases - solid and recessed. The standard recess has a 0.75"/19mm diameter (Fitting a U.S. penny perfectly!) and is 0.35"/9mm tall: great for adding weight or magnetizing. These bases are also fabulous for either resin or FDM printers and can be printed support-free directly on a filament printer plate.

Found Family Adventurecrafts minis are stylized and oversized! They fit perfectly in quirky campaigns or for display purposes, and are suitable for all skill levels to handle and paint.

This product contains both .STLs with and without supports. Feel free to resize to your desired scale.
