Blood Angels Contemptor Dreadnought

Contemptor Dreadnoughts stride the battlefield as gods of war, each an indomitable armoured walker controlled by an interred Space Marine hero.Known once as 'The Revenant Legion', the soldiers of the Blood Angels are no stranger to surpassing death – within the ornate sarcophagi of their Dreadnoughts dwell warriors without peer, beautiful armoured shells concealing the ravages of war and bloodlust. On the battlefield, these war machines strike with all the righteous fury of their living brothers, often deployed via Dreadnought Drop Pods to the heart of battle.This multipart plastic and resin kit builds one Contemptor Dreadnought themed around the Blood Angels Legion. It includes a full plastic Contemptor Dreadnought and a Blood Angels Contemptor Dreadnought Upgrade Set with a resin head and torso. The head has a distinctive knightly look with a blood-drop decoration and a haloed hood, while the torso features exquisitely sculpted rendition of the Legion's winged armourial, together with elegant scrollwork and a delicate armour trim. These resin components replace some elements from the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit, allowing you to build and arm the model as you like. This kit comprises 164 plastic components and 2 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round Base as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 markings and icons. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. This resin modelling kit is a collectable item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.This kit is also compatible with the Contemptor Dreadnought Weapon Frames, which are sold separately, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with two copies of the same arm-mounted ranged weapon.
