Contemptor Dreadnoughts stride the battlefield as gods of war, each an indomitable armoured walker controlled by an interred Space Marine hero. The Order of the Jackal, guardians of the XV Legion's past and future, judge the fate of any fallen warriors who would be interned within a Dreadnought chassis – preserving the wisdom of the Thousand Sons' greatest veterans, who slumber in Prospero's grand memorial complexes until their strength is needed once more.
This multipart plastic and resin kit builds one Contemptor Dreadnought themed around the Thousand Sons Legion. It includes a full plastic Contemptor Dreadnought and a Thousand Sons Contemptor Dreadnought Upgrade Set with a resin head and torso. The head is crowned with a gem-studded diadem, while the torso sports distinctive sculpted elements like a Achean winged scarab and a Prosperine ritual headdress. These resin components replace some elements from the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit, allowing you to build and arm the model as you like.
This kit comprises 164 plastic components and 2 resin components, and comes with a Citadel 60mm Round Base as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 markings and icons. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. This resin modelling kit is a collectable item, and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
This kit is also compatible with the Contemptor Dreadnought Weapon Frames, which are sold separately, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with two copies of the same arm-mounted ranged weapon.
