When a horde of beastmen invaded his home of Lachenbad, the young Valten refused to run. Taking up two hammers from his father’s forge he set about the horde like a hurricane with cries of anger and vengeance. Inspired by his bravery, the panicking villagers gathered up their swords, pitchforks and scythes and ran to join the blacksmith’s boy. They cut through the warband until Valten stood before the powerful brute of a leader named Rargarth, and with a single mighty hammer blow Valten shattered his skull. Leaderless the beastmen fled.
Spurred on by a feeling he could not explain, Valten left Lachenbad behind and travelled north to the Kislev border. It was there he found clues to his destiny, and came to wield Ghal Maraz, the fabled Hammer of Sigmar, in the Empire’s defence.
Heroes of the Empire: Valten contains Valten on foot with two hand weapons, Valten on Empire Warhorse, and Valten the Exalted of Sigmar on Elven Steed. This is a Citadel Finecast product with the exception of the Warhorse which is supplied in plastic.
