Orcs are led by the biggest and brawniest of their kind. These hulking individuals have pummelled their way to the top of the culture where only the strongest survive. The most powerful leaders are known as Warbosses and they will often lead a huge army (known as a Waaagh! in Orc-speak) into battle, where they will hack, smash and head-butt their way to victory. All Warbosses have their own little personality quirks, though for the most part they are ill-tempered, prone to violence and, to some degree, slightly cunning. They are, almost universally, armed with very large, and occasionally magical, weapons that are collectively known as 'choppas'.
Some Warbosses prefer to lead their troops from atop an impressive mount befitting their high status. The largest and most impressive (and therefore da best) is the Wyvern, a serpentine reptilian beast that could be mistaken for a Dragon, save for its foul attitude, cannibalistic tendencies and the incredible stench that it gives off. Of course, these traits have much in common with the greenskin race and it's for these reasons that young Wyverns are adopted by Orc Warbosses to become their mounts in later life.
This boxed set contains one Orc Warboss on Wyvern - a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes in 15 components (including two plastic dragon wings), and is supplied with a 50mm Square Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.
