When the Word Bearers launched their surprise attack on Calth, Remus Ventanus was central to the XIII Legion’s counter-offensive - rallying the shattered remnants of the Ultramarines to regain control of the Calth defence grid. Ventanus continued to fight even as his Primarch issued the order to evacuate the dying planet, leading his forces - and as many civilians as he could - into the subterranean arcologies under the surface. As the Horus Heresy rages on, the Saviour of Calth fights a vicious Underworld War against the followers of the Warmaster.
This multipart resin kit builds one Remus Ventanus - a commander of the 1st Chapter of the Ultramarines Legion. This resolute hero proudly raises his Legion standard - an eye-catching staff mounted with the Imperial aquila, the sculpted numeral and armourials of the XIII Legion, trailing leather tassels, and the etched name of Macragge - with his other hand resting on his sheathed, gladius-style power sword, Phaethon. He is also equipped with a nuncio-vox unit mounted to his power back, and clad in artificer armour replete with Ultramarines details. The kit includes a choice of two heads - the bare face of Remus Ventanus, or a crested Praetorian helm.
This kit comprises 15 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
