Then one day a package arrived from the far reaches of the kingdom addressed to the artisans. A note was attached that applauded their efforts, and praised their craftmanship. The note was simply signed “the Wandering Acorn”. Inside the package was a delicious linzer torte that glistened in the sunlight, and smelled of perfection. The two artisans joyously partook of the linzer torte and both their appetite for delicious food and their appetite for recognition were sated. To this day, across all of Talharia, when one wishes to thank another for their diligent work, the appropriate gift is a linzer torte accompanied by the statement “I also think humanity should be protected”.
