Product Description
The Airborne Jeep & 6 Pdr. Anti-Tank Gun

Model: MG095

Scale: 1/30

Finish: Matte

This impressive 1/30 scale set features a brand-new sculpt of the classic wartime Willys Jeep, crewed by British paratroopers and towing the powerful Ordnance Quick-Firing 6 Pounder Anti-Tank Gun. Designed as a mobile anti-armor solution for airborne and light infantry units, this combination proved invaluable in multiple WWII theaters.

The Jeep includes two British Paras in the front driving seats with a third riding alongside, fully equipped for combat. Loaded with ammunition crates, extra Lee-Enfield rifles, and loose field packs, the vehicle reflects the improvisation and readiness typical of airborne operations.

Towed behind is King & Country’s latest version of the iconic 6-Pounder (57mm) Anti-Tank Gun, the primary anti-tank weapon of British and U.S. forces during much of the war. First seeing action in North Africa in 1942, the 6-Pdr quickly demonstrated its effectiveness at the Battle of Gazala and later against increasingly formidable German armor, including Tiger I and Panther tanks—especially with the introduction of APCR and APDS ammunition by mid-1944.

Supplied not only to British and U.S. forces but also to Free French units, the USSR, Brazil, and later the Israeli Defence Forces, the 6-Pdr enjoyed a long service life, remaining in British use until 1960.

Finished in realistic matte tones with finely sculpted crew detail, authentic field gear, and historically inspired artillery design, this set makes a dramatic centerpiece for any Arnhem, Market Garden, or Northwest Europe campaign display. Presented in a special full-color presentation box.
