The Lone Fisherman's Story
Our story begins in a vast wilderness surrounded by soaring mountains and lush forests, at the heart of which lies a solitary lake called Murlaw. At first this beautiful utopia seems like heaven on earth but that's just the surface of it…
A family of orcs reach lake Murlaw starving and tired, and in the distance they spot shoals of fish jumping in and out of the water in what looked like a frenzy. The orcs quickly crafted a small raft and went in with spears to catch some fish, throwing away any signs of caution. As they reached the fish shoal they were so happy to have found something to eat but unknown to them, horrors that lurked deep into the dark waters were now on the hunt as well…
The first thing the orcs noticed was the water around them starting to bubble and the fish quickly dispersing. A huge monstrous fish pushed the raft into the air, splintering it off into bits and leaving the helpless folks struggling in the dangerous waters. Without warning, a huge mouth filled with teeth as big as swords swallowed Krogar's wife and son whole, leaving him petrified and devastated. As he regained his senses,Krogar dove down but the monster already vanished deep into depths. Afraid, alone and with revenge in his mind, Krogar walked away from the lake until he found a small village where he learned that the monster is called Morlok and that many brave yet foolish warriors tried to hunt it down only to be never seen again.
Many years later Krogar can still be found living near lake Murlaw catching fish and learning more about Morlok's behavior so that one day he could avenge his family. With the help of his only trusted companion Chop, a wild boar that he raised by himself,he goes to the market every day with his cart to sell fresh fish and puts away every penny so that one day he could find someone to hire and help him hunt Morlok.
