Description
The race of the Ancients was once the greatest power in the galaxy. Now they are only a shadow of their former might, yet the greatest dangers still linger within that Shadow. Among them are the Voidborn, who have made their gloomy dominion in Tenebris, the World-between-Worlds where eternal twilight reigns. Wielding the mystical power of the ever-hungry Void, these decadents pay for power and immortality with an unending, unquenchable hunger, a ceaseless thirst for blood, souls, and sensation. Their existence is a twisted symphony of pain and pleasure, violence and lust, played across countless lives. To a Voidborn, everything and everyone beyond themselves is merely a thing, a toy, or food.

Fleshmasters and Fleshmistresses are feared and revered throughout Tenebris, for there is no knowledge of flesh, no secret of blood, and no mastery of bone unknown to them. They sculpt living bodies as if they were obedient clay, granting immortality, strength, and unnatural gifts, as well as pain, madness, and endless suffering. Their services are costly, but the wrath of a Fleshmaster is far more terrible than any price. Arache stands among the most dreaded of their kind. In battle, she walks beside horrors born of blasphemous experiment, yet she herself yields to no enemy. Lady Venom carries her art within her own flesh, and every touch, every wound, and every drop she spills may become the beginning of a far slower death.
