The core of the Weeping Crusade, Custodian Knights are the Emperor's vengeance made manifest. Clad in extremely ornate armours, each of them has customised their gear over millennia to perfectly fit them both physically and emotionally, representing a perfect blend between elegance and lethality.
This multi-part kit includes bits to assemble 6 completely different custodian knights, which can be mixed and matched in multiple ways to achieve great diversity through an army, besides having the option to choose between different loadouts. The arms and torsos have slots for 2x3mm magnets so that weapon options can be exchanged at any point.
- 6x leg poses, combining two different tassets and abdominal plates to add variety.
- 6x torso designs.
- 6x helmets.
- A masked bare head.
- 6x ornate pauldrons.
- 3x less ornate pauldrons.
- 6x arm combinations wielding revolver-spears, either in both hands or only on one hand, leaving the other free (one of the free hands is carrying a misericordia).
- 6x left arms with a shield.
- 6x right arms wielding revolver-blades.
- A right arm carrying a burning witch tied to a torture pole (represents a vexilla).
- A left arm with a revolver-blade so the vexilla can either be combined with a spear, a shield or a blade.
- A misericordia that can be glued to the belt or the tassets.
- A magnet filler to make the arms easier to assemble when magnets are not utilised.
Note that, besides being posed differently, the arms also combine two distinct styles of vambraces (which are labelled A and B).
The scenic bases shown in the pictures and the renders are NOT INCLUDED, but available separately here. However, any other 40mm base will also fit their scale fine, which is designed to be close (slightly taller, a middle point between regular and truescale) to similar models by other brands.
Each full model will need a pair of legs, a torso, a head, left and right arms (some spears have both in a single piece), and two pauldrons. I personally prefer both pauldrons to be identical, but they can be mixed as desired, and three plainer designs have been included, which canonically are used to differentiate between hosts, squads or regiments, as they provide a flat surface to paint in different colours. A misericordia can also be glued to the model if desired as an additional weapon, as well as a symbolic piece of gear.
Both pre-supported .stl files and unsupported .obj files included for each piece, as well as Lychee scenes with all of them.
