One could say without fear of contradiction that Lucas Pina is the big surprise of recent years in the world of miniatures. It all began while he was studying Fine Arts; years in which he dared to model their first small-scale figures, experimenting with that works during the degree because he usually worked with larger scales and other materials.
His early works saw the light thanks to the support and encouragement of Thais Mariblanca and Juan Diaz, who greatly appreciated what they did for him. Lucas referents are among many others his friend Allan Carrasco, Romain Van den Bogaert, Raul Garcia Latorre, and of course Simon Lee and Aris Kolokontes.
He works with Super Sculpey Firm, because he likes consistency and hardness of this putty, although for fragile parts he usually mixes with some Fimo.
Lucas´ inspiration for this figure is of course all the artwork available about The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, compiled in the awesome artbooks edited, which is addicted!
