Greetings Warlords! Rodge here. I designed this set of 20 shields inspired by animals, pictograms, and petroglyphs. Instead of using decals or exercising my freehand painting skills, I just wanted an option where I could simply "paint within the lines." Each shield comes with a pre-supported option.
The shields are designed with 28mm miniatures in mind (Gripping Beast, Wargames Atlantic, and Victrix plastics in particular). This particular set has two versions of the shield! One is a standard dark age round shield and the other is a slightly smaller version that could be used for skirmishers or earlier eras.
If you're into historical miniature gaming, I think these shields could be used for any number of "crude" warbands including Picts, Irish, Numidians, or pre-historical forces.
