Huge Stone-troll Fanatic with a giant wrecking ball. This is a proxy variant of GW Mega-Gargant for Goblin themed army.
This is a multi-part model for easier printing. The default size of the complete model is around 21 cm. The model is huge, but all parts can be printed on any standart 3d printer. Mine was done at Elegoo Mars.
The parts 1-9 are separate pieces of the troll`s stone carapace. All pieces are marked appropriately are separate and you can see them on the screenshots. There is also a half of the 130mm standart base, print it twice and get a plain base if you want.
Assembly advice. I`ve printed it 4 times by now. So far my assembly steps were:
1. Glue the arms and hands together.
2. Glue the belly and the left leg
3. Glue the wrecking ball
4. Glue the belly and leg part to the base
5. Use the glued arms/hands together with the Chest to align the ball position at the base. Glue the ball to the base
Now you can paint all these parts and they should align when you glue them after painting. Or you can just glue everything together - should not be any hard to reach spots)
There is pre-supported option included in the pack. An archive with Chitubox pre-supported projects. These are the files I use to print my model. They are not perfect, and what i mean - sometimes the support are extencive. But this is how i personally do it and i can guarantee that it will print 100% because I tested it multiple times. You can make the supports yourself too but be careful. The model is big and detail-heavy. Dont use auto-supports. It was not easy to support some of the parts, but i managed to print everything in first try with no failures, just take some time to do it and be attentive to details.
