Scyllataur Assault Carrier And Artillery Tractor

A heavy modification of the Scylla light tank. It uses the same track parts. The sides, hull, mostly everything else is different. It is compatible with many parts from the Scylla light tank kit, including the hull mounted weapons and tracks. The hatch on top of the tractor can mount a GROWS. The hull weapon adapter is compatible with all Somua-mount weapons (single). The Assault carrier hull features folding seats and can mount an additional machine-gun or reconnaissance equipment. The Xenochipper mkII can fit the tractor and assault carrier by replacing the front and side tow loops. Rear Storage bins are also optional. Crew/passengers are not included.

The Scyllataur artillery tractor is a derivation of the Scylla light tank, replacing the rear of the vehicle with a cargo bed. The Scyllatuar only requires a crew of one. The hull mounted Machine-gun is aimed by the driver and is limited to a forward fire arc, making it's defensive use questionable. They are often seen on battle fields that have devolved into trench warfare, moving supplied to the front or towing smaller artillery pieces. During the Kipkean Apostasy, the 67th Cadachanian Death Legion was known to use it for light recon duty by replacing the machine-gun with a heavier weapon or mounting a GROWS system on top.

More uncommon is the Scyllataur Assault carrier - a light transport that adds an additional machine-gun and room for 5-6 passengers in the rear. During the 17th scouring of Flanders, it was common practice to replace the machine-guns with a heavier weapon and sensor suite to serve in the role of reconnaissance or tank hunter.
