We are here to help everyone who has found a miniature and can't identify it or where it came from.
We don't know everything in the world, sure, but we have a fairly large database of miniatures and a large community of collectors. So we will at least try to find any relevant information.
How does the thumbnail search process work?
In order for us to help you, you need to provide as much information as possible about your miniature.
- To do this, you need to add a set that includes your miniature to the site. You should enter Miniatures Identification Center as the manufacturer's company. Please note, that you should only add 1 miniature per set. If you are trying to idintify a group of miniatures and you are positive that all of them came from the same set, please use this Link to add a set with at least some info filled in.
- Add detailed photos from all sides. Every detail is important. Sometimes there are marks on the underside about years, authors, etc.
- Add as much description and characteristics as possible - the material of the miniature, size, scale, whether it is printed or cast, whether it consists of parts or was cast entirely. And your assumptions of the year of production. Any information is important and will help in finding information about the thumbnail!
What are the advantages of adding through the creation of a new set on the site
You can immediately add a miniature to your collection and after identifying the set, all the information will be immediately updated in your collection.
Who is searching for information
Information is sought by members of our community according to their desire and knowledge. Look at other figures for identification - maybe you can help someone as others can help you. Everyone's participation is important here.
