Kevin "Kev" Adams is a renowned miniature sculptor known for his exceptional talent in crafting fantasy miniatures, particularly goblins and orcs. He has left an indelible mark on the world of tabletop gaming and fantasy art, earning him the nickname "Goblinmaster".

Kevin Adams' journey into the world of miniature sculpting began in his childhood when he started collecting Airfix soldiers and building model kits. He displayed a keen interest in painting and crafting miniatures from an early age. His artistic pursuits led him to experiment with various materials, including plasticine and wire, to create miniature figures.

In the mid-1980s, Kevin Adams entered the world of professional miniature sculpting. His early work included a range of dwarfs and goblins for Harlequin and models for Alternative Armies. He later joined Heartbreaker and produced numerous ranges of orcs, goblins, and dwarfs. His career continued to flourish as he worked on projects for Fasa's Maelstrom game, Warzone models, Fantasy Forge, and more.

Kevin Adams gained widespread recognition for his expertise in sculpting fantasy miniatures, especially goblins and orcs. His miniatures were characterized by incredibly detailed and characterful faces, making them stand out in the world of tabletop gaming. His ability to infuse his creations with expressions ranging from anger to mischief made his work highly sought after by collectors and gamers alike.

One of Kevin Adams' notable achievements was the creation of the "Jolly Japes" range, which included whimsical goblin models. While the original design featured a goblin in a rather humorous pose, it was later modified due to concerns about its content.

Throughout his career, Kevin Adams drew inspiration from various sources, including artists like John Blanche and Tony Ackland. He admired the work of the Perry Twins for its realism and dynamics, which influenced his approach to miniature sculpting.

During his time at Games Workshop, particularly at Enfield Chambers, Adams enjoyed a creative environment that allowed for greater freedom in designing miniatures. This creative liberty led to the development of unique and imaginative models straight from his mind.

Now working more independently under his own company GoblinMaster Limited, his prolific miniature sculpting shows no sign of slowing down.
