Le Petit Toy Soldier Shop company
About company
Le Petit Soldier Shop was a famous, eccentric-run collectible toy soldier store located at 528 Royal Street in New Orleans, Louisiana
The shop was run for 41 years by Dave Dugas (alongside references to Jack Heriard and local artists), gaining legendary status for its hand-painted, American-made 54 mm military miniatures.
Part museum and part shop, the interior featured detailed dioramas like the Battle of New Orleans, alongside antique weapons, historical documents, and military medals.
The physical storefront officially closed in 2006, but its craftsmanship and memory remain well-known among vintage military miniature collectors.
