Contemptor Dreadnoughts stride the battlefield as gods of war, each an indomitable armoured walker controlled by an interred Space Marine hero. The ranks of the Dark Angels boast some of the most venerable warriors and fearsome weaponry in the galaxy, a legacy of the secretive honours they earned on Terra itself. When both are combined in a Dreadnought, the result is a warrior-machine without peer, fielded by the Ironwing in overwhelming onslaughts of firepower and mechanical might.
This multipart plastic and resin kit builds one Contemptor Dreadnought themed around the Dark Angels Legion. It includes a full plastic Contemptor Dreadnought and a Dark Angels Upgrade Set with a resin head and torso. The head has a distinctive gothic appearance beneath its baroque hood, while the torso sports the winged armourial of the I Legion in the form of a sword-wielding angel statuette, alongside elements like armoured studs, chains, and votive candles to honour the fallen warrior inside. These resin components replace some elements from the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit, allowing you to build and arm the model as you like.
This kit comprises 164 plastic components and 3 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round Base as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 markings and icons. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
This resin modelling kit is a collectible item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
This kit is also compatible with the Contemptor Dreadnought Weapon Frames, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with two copies of the same arm-mounted ranged weapon.
