Intended for 3d print.

Futuristic tank truck, for transporting liquid across distant moons. Armed with laser and ballistic gun emplacements, for shooting space aliens.
There are 4 different variants of the truck included in this kit. The only difference between the variants is the main body of the truck, including tires, cylindrical tanks, and elevator. You can use the image gallery to see the different variants, as well as the components required to assemble the different variants. Note that glue is required for assembly.

The kit is primarily intended for 28mm scale tabletop games. The default scale of the model parts when loaded into your slicer program is also 28mm. Note that the size of the model parts can easily be altered in your slicer, so you can use the kit for other scales as well.

The kit includes 12 model parts in total, but some of them are variants of the same part, or optional. You will need to print a minimum of 4 model parts to assemble a functioning tank truck.

Designer's notes

The following section is information about the design process, what the idea behind the models were and why they turned out the way they did, et cetera. It is not strictly speaking something you as a customer need to know, but you may find it interesting.

This model kit is an adaption of an older model kit called "Modular Superheavy Tank". See link below.
Please note that the tank truck and modular superheavy tank are NOT compatible with each other. The superheavy tank is intended to to be used with various add-ons, but the tank truck is an entirely standalone kit.

Originally I had some rather more ambitious plans for the tanker, but I eventually realized I would never get around to putting that amount of work into it. So I did a "quick-fix" version instead. The released kit has some limitations, including printing as a relatively few-part kit. Cutting it down into more parts than that (which would make it more customizable and easier to print) would require more design work.
I suppose the main issue that arises from this is that the main body part is very large. When printed at the default 28mm scale, the body is approximately 12x 8x 8,5cm in size. Not only does this expend a lot of filament/resin - you may conceivably have trouble even fitting the part inside your printer area if you are using a smaller printer. Do note that you can quite easily cut the body part into further pieces - simply use the "cut" command and cut the model part laterally along the middle. You can then print each halve separately, and then glue them together post-print. Just be aware prior to purchase that you will need to do this manually.

The model kit prints relatively fine at smaller scales. Note that certain parts (mainly the cannon assemblies) may run into trouble at very small scales, say 6mm. For that reason the kit also includes reinforced "6mm" model parts for certain components. Note that these parts have NOT been scaled to 6mm. If you intend to print a 6mm version of the tanker, you will have to adjust the size of both the 6mm models and the 28mm tank body first.
