The Planner will be useful for several things. Let's consider them as they become more complicated.
Editor of your collection
The easiest option to quickly edit your collection. When adding a set to your collection, you need to specify a lot of fields - printed, assembled, how many miniatures are painted, and how many are simply primed. If adding one set to a collection is even more or less convenient, then editing is already much more difficult and longer.
To do this faster, you can use the Planner - quickly view your collection, select a company / game collection / faction and set all the necessary values for each set at once.
Differences when editing collections from projects in the Planner
- you cannot give a link to view your collection in the planner. Others can view your collection in its usual form (if you haven't closed it).
- only you will be able to see statistics for your entire collection.
- you cannot change the order of the sets.
This is the easiest way to use the Planner. We can even say - not quite for its intended purpose)
Creating a project based on your collection
Use case - you decided to make your army 2000 points for some game ;) In addition to the official figures, you have also bought a terrain and additional guns from other companies. And you want to run the project publicly, so that anyone can view the status and statistics of the project via the link. This is where the planner will come in handy!
In this case, you do not manage your entire collection at once, but only a specific project. It all starts with its creation - you choose the name, a brief description and visibility for others (the project can be private, completely open and accessible only by link). The next step is to specify the sets from your collection. And yes - they should all have already been added to your collection. It is also possible to add kits from the wish list - these kits will go separately, as a purchase plan for this project.
Next, you arrange the sets in order of importance for the project (or any other order). In the upper part you can see statistics on your project - what is the degree of readiness of the project as a whole. At the bottom is a log of your recent actions.
It remains only to share the link to the project and patiently change the status for the better!
Creating a project without linking to your collection
For example, if you are a professional artist and took an order for an army of 2000 points. In this case, you do not need to add sets to your collection, as you will have to return them to the customer.
