Image Types: Rules and Guidelines
Who can mark images
Marking image types is only available to registered users. If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the login page.
Marking is currently enabled only for a limited set of companies. If you would like to mark sets from a company that is not yet available, please contact the site admins.
Marking images
Every image in a set must be marked with a type (box art, finished miniature, sprue/parts, etc). Click a type button under an image to assign it - clicking the same button again removes the mark.
All images in the set must be checked before any completeness level (Minimum, Normal, Full) can be reached. If any image is left unmarked ("unknown"), the result will show "check all images" regardless of what else is filled in.
Multiple set types
Some sets can belong to more than one set type at once (for example, a set can be both a "Miniature" and a "Terrain" set). In this case a separate result block is shown for each type, since the rules and required image types can differ between them.
You can add or remove set types directly on the set page using the chips and the "+ Add type" dropdown in the top-right corner. At least one set type must remain - the last one cannot be removed.
When a set has several types, an additional "Overall result" block is shown below the individual results. It reflects the lowest (most limiting) level reached across all types, so you can quickly see what is holding the set back.
Shift+click for bulk marking
If several images in a row should get the same type, hold Shift and click the type button on the first image in that sequence. This will mark all following images with the same type, up until an already-marked image is reached.
Shift+click also works to unmark a chain of images: if you shift+click an already selected button, it will remove that type from the following images that share the same type, stopping at the first image with a different type.
Templates
Templates let you apply a common, pre-defined marking pattern to all images of a set in one click, using the "Apply template" dropdown above the images. This is useful for sets that follow a typical structure (e.g. box art first, then miniatures, then sprues).
After applying a template, you are taken to another random set. If you want to double-check that the template was applied correctly, use your browser's Back button to return to the set, reload page with updated info and review the result.
Available companies
Marking is currently enabled only for a limited set of companies, selected by the site admins. If you would like to mark sets from a company that is not yet available, please contact the site admins and ask to add it.
How completion is tracked
Whenever a set first reaches a new level (Minimum, Normal, or Full), the system records which user reached it and when. This information is used to build the leaderboards and activity log on the site.
Only the level actually reached is recorded - reaching a higher level later does not overwrite who reached the lower one first.
Rules
The rules below are a live reflection of the rules currently configured in the system - they are not a separate static description, but exactly what the site uses to calculate Minimum, Normal, and Full status for each set type.
If you think a rule should be adjusted, or a set type is missing something, please contact the site admins.
