Okko: Era of the Asagiri

Okko is a miniature board game hybrid played on a square grid. The game consists of skirmishes set in the world of the Okko comics between characters from therein, as well as other Japanese-inspired warriors like samurai, ninja, oni, and other Japanese folklore inspired characters. Each player controls 4 to 6 characters. The base game and its expansions contain cardboard standees, though pewter figures were available to purchase separately. The primary game mechanic is dice allocation, each player rolls a set of dice resulting in a variety of elements which can be distributed to their fighters in order to boost the corresponding attribute or activate a corresponding ability.

Okko: Era of the Asagiri is inspired from a comic published by Archaia Studios Press in 2008, and is a predecessor to the various elemental chronicles kickstarter games.
