After a 3 month hiatus I'm back :) In this video I'll talk about the Mierce Miniatures Kickstater, Darklands: First Edition and also review a miniature from their line called Uuthüll. I had purchased some figures in the past from their line and also participated in the first Darklands Kickstarter. I must say they are the most communicative Kickstarter I've been part of and pretty much everything shipped on time. They are always around to answer questions and the customer service is second to none. If you like miniatures that are pieces of art made by some of the best sculptors around then I'm confident you will love their line. I'm not a huge gamer these days but the rules I've looked at are really strong and am looking forward to the full rule set once this Kickstarter is done. Per the video here are some links you might find interesting: Darklands Quickstarter Rules: For other downloads such as the muster rules and kindred specific factions check out the links here: To check out the incredible line of miniatures check out their site at: Link to Uuthüll miniature: All music used under Creative Commons License and is provided royalty free from Incompetech.com ![]() |

The crew once again assemble to discuss all manner of Blood Rage stuff as the game rockets up on Kickstarter as always diverting onto other matters as their train of thought seems to ride a roller coaster by default. ![]() |

Eddie Inzauto reviews Eric M. Lang and Guillotine games' Blood Rage, published by CMON. This combat-heavy area control game with card drafting, hidden objectives, and various upgrade paths is a special hybrid of Euro and Ameritrash that will have a special sort of appeal to a wide variety of gamers. Designed for 2-4 players and lasting about 90 minutes, this super-fun game scales well with all player counts, but is best at a full 4. (There's a 5-player expansion, but we still prefer it at 4.) It does serve up the opportunity for players to create game-breaking combos, but is self-balancing thanks to the combination of area control, card-drafting, and the battle system, which is excellent. And let's not forget the minis. Wow. Great game overall. Our highest recommendation. Minis and Packaging: 0:34 ![]() |

Created by Felipe Morales using Serif MoviePlus. The Viking figures are 32mm, but the Monsters can vary a lot: This is a set of items for Blood Rage that were only available during the Kickstarter campaign. Fifth player expansion ~ three alternate-sculpt monsters, each with their own (5+ player) card, and sculpted clan tokens for the extra faction (the Ram Clan). ![]() |

Suggest topics: Over the next few months, I'm going to be getting a bunch of games (and things) in the mail from Kickstarters (and things) I've backed. This is one of those. It's a not-so-little game called Blood Rage for 2-4 (or 5, if you have all the expansions I do) players about a bunch of Viking clans fighting it out during Ragnarok. There are monsters and gods and all sorts of neat things. It'll be out for sale soon if you want it, check here for more info: #28 of (at least) 100 ![]() |
