These naval artilleryman figures are designed to interact with the guns on your ship during the 17th and early 18th centuries. i.e. Thirty Years War, English Civil War, Anglo-Dutch Wars, War of Spanish Succession. I made them for my own use in order to flexibly obtain large crews in various scales to populate my sailship models (1:150, 1:170 and 1:200). The native scale here is 1:72, so mostly you would probably be scaling these down further.
More poses will be added to this post if my ship models require them, which they probably will very shortly. A brief look at any old painting of such vessels suggests that, as far as the crew go that you put on them, more is better than less. That has been also my own experience after I started making these little guys....
Update 07.07.2021: Added sailors H and I. They are supposed to be pulling the gun into position after cleaning and loading. Cannon in the pictures is not included in this set :)
