About the Islands on the pre-supported files: Our minis come pre-supported and ready to be 3D printed. Easy and perfect for you to print at home. Some may raise questions about islands in our pre-supported files, but we make sure all minis and its subsequent pieces are pre-printed and tested before they are made available. Our minis have a premium texture treatment and this can cause some micro islands to appear in slice programs, but we guarantee that in the printing process it makes no difference.
About the extraction of the files: We recommend that you use the latest version of WinRAR or 7zip. The windows native extraction tool is not very good and may have problems with heavy files.
About the size of the files: Most miniatures on the market go through a high decimation process where they reduce the polygon count of the models to make it lighter. And this ends up leaving the miniatures polygonal, especially larger scale miniatures.
Our miniatures pride themselves on the quality of the art and detail in the models. And for the level of detail we've put into it, it would be a crime to reduce the polygon counts in an extreme decimation process just to make them lighter. So we ask you to understand the reason for the size of the files.
