In Greek Mythology, it was said that there were three Gorgons: the three daughters of Phorcys and Keto. Their names were Medusa (The Impetuous), Stheno (The Oppressor) and Euryale (The Wanderer). Like their mother, the gorgons were extremely beautiful and their hair was enviable; however, they were unruly and unscrupulous, which caused the irritation of the other gods.
