The Slime Wave models are useful to represent many of the various slimes and oozes that are encountered in dungeons. There are 4 different 'poses' included with this set, but the general 'body language' of all of them is of a slime that rises up to 'slam' enemies with it's bulk to try to harm or envelope them. With different paint choices, these models can represent Black Puddings, Gray Oozes, or any of a variety of dungeon slimes. Also, because such creatures often break apart into smaller copies when hit by the wrong type of attack, several different sizes of each pose are also provided. Larger poses have been hollowed to save on resin use.
Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.
