Role-Playing Terrain System
DUNGEON WALLS 1 BASE SET
A full set of low walls and doors that can be used to aid in making 3D battlemap terrain for use in role-playing games.

Contains STL Files for walls that are 19mm high in various lengths: 1-inch, 2-inch, 4-inch, and 8-inch. Also contains 1-inch walls with curved ends useful for making rounded wall sections and rooms. Snap-together endcaps are also included, which are snapped into the wall pieces to trap magnet balls inside. Also, 2 types of doorways, A slot-over doorway that slides over a wall section, and an Archway that spans a 1” gap in wall tiles, are included. Finally, a free-standing door as well as 3 variations of clip-in doors are also included.
There are many 3D dungeon systems and accessories available today, and this is…another one. What sets the Magna-Build system apart, however, is the design philosophy at its core: this is not ‘Diorama Terrain’ that you can use to play a role-playing game with…this is terrain that is designed for role-playing, designed to improve the experience without slowing it down. Sure, you may still want to use that fancy Diorama Terrain for special events and key encounters, but Magna-Build can easily fill the gap when you don’t have time to mess with it.
For your regular gaming experience where you might not have unlimited time to prepare, the battle-map is still king, and Magna-Build embraces that to work with your battle-map. By using wall pieces with no floors attached, the convenience factor skyrockets: they are easy to store, and you can make very complex room designs with just a few different types of walls, so you don’t need to spend time looking for the right parts. Just keep a selection of pieces off by the side of the map, and when you need to make a new room just throw them down. It is so fast, you can set them up WHILE YOU PLAY. And you also don’t need to have a huge amount of them to use them effectively: as your party advances through the dungeon and you start to run low on pieces, just pull them up from the areas they’ve already completed and keep going!
Extensive research has shown that there is one way that most role-players play their multi-hour sessions, and that way is: sitting down. Our lower default height on the walls lets them resemble obstacles without actually becoming obstacles to play: players will be able to see over them from any location around the table. Of course, if you do want higher walls for any reason, they do stack nicely.
And what makes them stick together? You’re going to want to get some 5mm neodymium ball magnets, which get inserted into all the ends, and securely encapsulated by the clip-in endcaps. This lets them rotate freely inside the wall pieces, so when another wall-piece is brought near, the magnets will automatically align themselves to attract and snap together!
Just the fact that they stick to each other gives them a ton of stability on any battle-map, but if you really want them to stay in place, you can throw a piece of sheet steel under the map! Optionally, of course, you could also pick up a Dark-Platypus Studio MAGNA-MAP, a high-quality rollable, laminated, 24” x 36” battle map that is made of magnetically receptive material!
