BLIGHTED GLOWWORM Skittering: RPG Post-apocalypse Worm Monster

This sculpt is reminiscent of the classic Gamma World Monsters known as Blights or Cloud Worms, but I’ve put my own spin on it. The creature can turn invisible (try printing it in clear!) but also has terrible eyesight, and so emits a glowing light whenever prey/enemies are around –even when invisible! This can lead to situations where a party of explorers might find an area that is lit, but with no visible light source –that is a time to be extra cautious! When the GlowWorm attacks, it constricts its prey, and exudes an oily coating that turns them invisible too! Then it gnoms on them until they are dead, at which point it drags them off to eat them.
GlowWorms have wings that can stretch out and extend for flight, but they can curl them around their body when not in use, where they blend in to their segmented structures.
This model is Pose 2 of 3 initial poses I created, and features a GlowWorm with its wings partially extended, using them as legs to skitter across the ground!
The Mutant Mayhem Minis line of figures was designed for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, but also go great with DCC, Gamma World, D&D or any game that uses 28mm minis.

This model was sculpted for my Tribe, based on a suggestion to make my own versions of classic GW monsters! The GlowWorms may eventually be available in metal, but for now is only available here for 3D printing!
