Yrsa the Winterborn, Blade of the Eternal Frost
In the frozen north, where the wind howls like a dying beast and glaciers crumble like ancient fortresses, Yrsa the Winterborn was forged in the heart of ice and war. Raised among the Frostbear Order, the Guardians of the Glaciers, she became a warrior of the frozen wastes, sworn to defend her homeland against invaders from the south and the horrors of the abyss.
From a young age, Yrsa wielded axe and blade with a ferocity that chilled the blood. But it was with two short swords, forged from black steel mined deep beneath the eternal ice, that she became legend. Her strikes were as swift as a blizzard, her gaze as piercing as the frozen fjords.
During the Great Betrayal of Shadows, when the Sons of the Abyss sought to open a gateway in the heart of the northern mountains, Yrsa led the charge against the horrors of the Void. Her armor, clad in furs and layered with frost, was stained with the black blood of the abominations she cut down without mercy. It was she who sealed the rift, entombing the abyssal legions beneath a mountain of ice. But in doing so, she sacrificed a part of herself, feeling the cold creep into her very soul.
It is said that since that day, the cold has never left her. Her skin is ice to the touch, her breath always visible in a mist of frost, even under the summer sun. Some whisper that she is no longer entirely human, but something else a child of winter, a warrior whose fury will only be extinguished with the last great storm.
And as long as Nyvaris remains at war, the storm will never end.
