Contemptor Dreadnoughts stride the battlefield as gods of war, each an indomitable armoured walker controlled by an interred Space Marine hero. Those warriors of the Imperial Fists who fall in glory are recovered, wherever possible – for if they possess the sheer will to cling to life, they may fight on once more in a Dreadnought shell. Favoured across all tactical formations within the Imperial Fists, the versatile armoury and sheer impact of the Dreadnoughts make them vital in siege and breach operations on both the defence and the attack.
This multipart plastic and resin kit builds one Contemptor Dreadnought themed around the Imperial Fists Legion. It includes a full plastic Contemptor Dreadnought and an Imperial Fists Contemptor Dreadnought Upgrade Set with a resin head and torso. The head has a distinctive knightly look, while the torso sports the clenched fist armourial of the VII Legion, alongside elements like eagle wings, laurels of victory, ornate scrollwork, and a heraldic shield. These resin components replace some elements from the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit, allowing you to build and arm the model as you like.
This kit comprises 164 plastic components and 2 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round Base as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 markings and icons. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
This resin modelling kit is a collectible item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
This kit is also compatible with the Contemptor Dreadnought Weapon Frames, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with two copies of the same arm-mounted ranged weapon.
