The Red Terror is aptly named, both for its monstrous crimson carapace and the bloody remains left by its violent, all-consuming ambush attacks. Some Imperial scholars believe this vile creature was the first example of the Tyranid strain now known as the Ravener, a biological prototype for a tunnelling killing machine that could appear without warning and decimate its prey.
This multipart resin kit builds the Red Terror – an atavistic Tyranid tunnel-beast, which can be used to represent a Ravener in games of Warhammer 40,000. This classic miniature features three pairs of massive scything talons, running down a serpentine body that ends in a pincer-tipped tail – all features that would become staples of the modern Ravener. Its eyeless face and bifurcated jaws make it uniquely intimidating even amongst its monstrous breed – it's a fantastic project for Warhammer hobbyists, and is a must-have for any Tyranid collector.
This classic kit comprises 12 resin components, and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
