VESP CLASS CORVETTE
'Sleek', 'elegant', and 'murderous' are all terms used by EarthFleet crews when describing the Vesp class.
One of the fastest escort-size ships in service, the Vesp is armed to the proverbial teeth, carrying enough firepower to make earlier light cruisers jealous.
Just the twin medium turrets on the Vesp's flanks are enough to do serious harm to anything in EarthFleet's inventory. But these are almost secondary to the twin huge torpedo launchers in the bow, which are its primary strike weapons.
Combined with its powerful sublight drive, this makes the Vesp an ideal hit-and-run striker. However, the Vesp is not perfect; Cramming so many weapons with a huge engine in such a small hull left little room for crew or command spaces, sensors, armour or shields.
As a result, the attrition rate amongst Vesp squadrons is the highest in the Hamma'Lon fleet. This does not diminish the Vesp's enviable reputation as a fearful sight for anyone who opposes the Hamma'Lon.
The Vesp class Corvette is a 44mm long miniature of a space warship which comes in 5 parts, (you will need to print x2 copies of the Type 2 or Type 1 Turret), provided both supported and unsupported.
