Description
Diictodon feliceps, an ancient herbivorous mammal-like reptile, thrived during the Late Permian period around 260 million years ago.
With a compact body and short legs, it inhabited the supercontinent Pangaea. Diictodon's most distinctive feature was its enlarged head, adapted for efficient herbivory with specialized teeth.
Nocturnal by nature, it likely fed on plants and burrowed for shelter. Fossil evidence reveals its coexistence with formidable predators like gorgonopsids.
