Description
Plateosaurus trossingensis is a dinosaur species that roamed the Earth during the Late Triassic period, approximately 214 to 204 million years ago.
Belonging to the sauropodomorph group, it was a herbivorous dinosaur characterized by its bipedal stance, long neck, and small head.
With an estimated length of around 20 feet, Plateosaurus trossingensis was one of the earliest and most widespread of the large herbivorous dinosaurs. Fossil discoveries in Germany have provided valuable insights into its anatomy and behavior.
